I don't know how this happened but it appears I created a comment on my own review, I must have hit the wrong keys while taking in all that swooning in the lobby of the Ritz. I know Mike from Conyers would have set me right since he was swanning along with me, but nothing would distract him (quite understandably) from the plaudits going his way.

But I will use the space to say this Sazerac rye is a very good, lower proof - and lower cost - alternative to Handy rye. The Handy of course has an elevated proof and a concentration of flavor all its own. But the Sazerac rye, while not at those heights, conveys very well the house style of Buffalo Trace rye at under 10 years old.
