I generally love this bourbon; however, the quality is wildly inconsistent. I've bought bottles that were incredible (smokey, smooth with a bit of bite, rich, etc.), and I've bought some that were harsh, bitter and almost gasoline-like. That inconsistency has happened so much that I rarely by it for fear of getting a bad batch....shame. ch

So strange, I just tried this yesterday for the first time and thought it tasted a bit too harsh and bitter. I guess I must have just got a bad bottle.
