Mike, was this a current Old Taylor or a National Distillers one?

This is a current one.........there was not a listed bottling for it so I used the one that was available.

I ran across it in Athens GA this past week. I had never seen it before around here and was hoping it would approach the one you reviewed, but I am satisfied that it didn't.

It is not a bad whiskey, but neither is it outstanding. I think the 80 proof dilutes it a bit much.

Okay thanks, I find the current one quite different from the ND-era Old Taylor.
