Don uses three different malted grains so, yes you will get a lot mat/beer aromas in this product. I don't get the "band-aids" aroma myself, but I can see where you might get some medicinal aromas.

If you think your beer friends would like this, you should try the whiskey he distilled from microbrewed beer. Very hoppy in the finish.

The next release will be at barrel-proof.... and should have another year of aging (over the originale 5 yo releases.)
