Question about visiting Heaven Hill / Bardstown KY area
Posted: Thu Mar 28, 2013 7:01 pmMy friend and I (with girlfriends) are going down to Bardstown on Saturday to visit a few distilleries. We are both from Louisville and love bourbon. I've searched the internet and the forum posts but cannot definitively find an up-to-date list of bourbons exclusively sold at Heaven Hill and other distillery locations in the area. On the Heaven Hill website I was able to find that Heaven Hill does sell Elijah Craig 18yo and 20yo, evan williams 23yo, and heritage collection bottles at the visitors center.
Does anybody have any firsthand experience on what was available for sale on their trips to Heaven Hill or other distilleries in the area? And, what would you suggest we pick up if we come across it (preferably less than $100)?
