I had a bottle and wish I had another. It was given to me by a wonderful fellow who left this life prematurely. That you cannot find it is a tribute to its greatness. That I had it is a tribute to the generosity of a fine man whom I knew only briefly.

Burger -
Sorry, I can't help you, but I share your frustration. I live in Michigan, and it is frustrating to read about so many fine bourbons that seem to be unavailable here.

The Buffalo Trace Antique Collection, near as I can tell, was sold out at most retailers that could get any of it in one day. I was on a few waiting lists at a couple retailers that I'm a good customer of, and was able to get one bottle of Eagle Rare 17. Limit one bottle of Antique Collection product per customer. Really wanted a bottle of Geo. T. Stagg, or PVW, or ORVW, but no dice. And I got on the waiting lists back around March '13.

One retailer I know could have sold me a bottle of Stagg, but he wanted $250 for it. Too rich for my blood.

Sorry but I have no idea as to how you could procure a bottle of ER 17.
