I was excited to find ETL at a store the other day. I just picked up a bottle of Rock Hill Farms the night before, which I really liked so I thought I'd do a blind comparison.

I had my wife pour a small amount of each into a glass and not tell me which was which. I ended up favoring the ETL...it seemed a little more complex for lack of a better definition. The Rock Hill is still damn good though.

I've also been on the lookout for Elijah Craig and E.H. barrel proof's, but no dice. Sometimes this is like searching for Sasquatch.

I did however get to try a sample of E.H. single, which was pretty good.

Nice find. If you don't mind, where are you located and how much?

By me (NY), hard to find but was lucky to find a bottle for $39.99. Some places are charging $49.00-$149.99. Outrageous.

BT is scheduled to release ETL twice a year (April and Sept). I suspect the ETL you found was stock that a distributor "found" in their warehouse and is now giving to retailers.

After a two+ year absence, ETL finally returned to the shelves in my area a few weeks ago. As soon as I heard the news, I rushed out and bought a couple. A buddy called me last week, and said the store still had some. I went back last week and grabbed two more.

I found it at Yankee Spirits in Attleboro, MA. $35 I believe.
