New Bib and Tucker Bourbon

Unread postby WhiskeyCollector » Thu Nov 20, 2014 5:19 pm

Anyone heard of it or tried any? Saw a bottle in my local store and I think it's brand new. It comes in a fancy old-style embossed bottle with a cork that's tied on with string.

I just bought a bottle, along with a bottle of Eagle Rare.

I actually prefer this Bib & Tucker. It's an interesting bourbon with a nice strong nose, sweet and spicy. I used it to make the best Scofflaw I've ever had.

Picked up a bottle at Red Dog in Franklin, TN (just south of Nashville) a few weeks ago. Very good and the one thing that sticks out the most in my mind is the nutty flavor, like Chestnuts.

Red Dog people told me it is a new bottling. The label says bottled in Crestwood, KY and that its 6 year old Bourbon.

I really like Red Dog's tasting bar, where you can try the different Bourbons for free. They have a very good selection of samples. I always find something I probably would not have tried, like Bib & Tucker, Cumberland Cask Blue, or David Nicholson 1843.
