Old Grand Dad 114

Unread postby RandyG » Sat Jun 07, 2014 4:52 pm

OK, I finally broke down and bought a bottle of OGD 114. I have heard enough positive comments here that I had to try it for myself. On first taste I thought it very spicy with a good amount of kick (from the proof). I am definitely a high proof kinda guy, and thought this one had a good balance in this respect. I will continue to come to terms with this one and see how it fairs after a half dozen visits. So far so good and worth the $25 I paid for it.

Cheers,

I like OGD114, provided its had enough air time. I usually bring the bottle home from the store, take the cork out and leave it out for a few days, then have some. right out of a fresh seal, I dont enjoy it much, but air helps it tremendously. enjoy!
