Looking for a small bourbon option

Hi there! You have a nice website. :)

I am near the end of my bottle of Hudson Whiskey and need some ideas for a new bourbon to drink. I am more of a beer drinker (and brewer), so a bottle will last me 6-12 months. I typically drink mine neat.

I am looking for suggestions for whiskey or bourbon from a small distillery, not a massive industrial plant. The type that is made by a mad genius that is passionate about his product. It does not need to be a overly expensive or fancy product, just honest and genuine.

Thanks!

Dan

Where are you located? That will give us a better idea of what you can look for. If you are in New York where Hudson is distilled, I would recommend Finger Lakes distillery McKenzie bourbon.

I will second the McKenzie whiskys from Finger Lakes which are available throughout New England. I don't know if Tom McKenzie would appreciate being called a mad genius but it's worth a visit to the web page to watch videos of the product being made by hand.
