A pretty good bourbon review

Unread postby Birdo » Tue May 20, 2014 11:30 am

I haven't been posting much lately because I'm pretty well settled in with what types of bourbon I like. I like a rye mash bill with higher proof aged 4-8 years plenty fine. As such, I don't really have to spend big money getting what I enjoy. The article I linked here includes 3 of my favorites, Fighting Cock, Very Old Barton 100 Proof, and Old Heaven Hill 100 proof gold label. The remaining all seem like reasonable choices. My list would dump old fitz 80 in favor of Weller SR 90proof, I would also skip OGD 80 proof and go with the 100 Proof BIB choice. Benchmark 80? I dunno, Old Forestor seems like a superior choice. I really can't comment on Old Crow Reserve.

But I must say, its all good.
