Greg tells me last night that the VOB line is gonna be slimmed down. He's saying they are doing away with the 100 proof, which would be a real shame if that happens.

I guess it might be time to stock up on that goodie! Hope they change their minds.

I hoped he was pulling my leg. I called Bardstown today and had some put on hold.

The VOB 100 has always been my favorite of the various proofs produced. Did he give any kind of time frame?

I called a liquor store in Bardstown and they said they hadn't heard anything and still have some. I don't know when it's happening, but sounds like it's in the future for sure.

Can I get any of the VOB's in NY??? Does anybody have it by them at a store that ships?? See what I'm getting at here?? Thanks everyone.

We have the 86 proof 6 year old, but that is the only one legally available in NY. I can ship that to ya Joe. Other than that, we'll have to talk about bringing some back to you friend to friend when we're down in April.

Does the 86 proof VOB do justice to the brand? I hear that this is a great value bourbon and I wonder if the 86 will do it justice. I dont need anymore two try bottles. What do you all think???

I think that the 86 does the brand justice, however my preference is for the 100. Any way you look at it though, the 86 is definitely very good especially for the money!

I love the 100, too, but the 86 is a great whiskey.
