I've heard the BIB tastes younger, not as well blended (for obvious reasons). So it can be a give-and-take situation. I'm fairly eager for the day when EWW shows up in AZ, so I can find out for myself... but I doubt it will ever completely replace EWB on my shelf. But then again, I'm not chained to any particular proof floor.
The point is that variety is the spice of life. I don't support watering-down of already-established brands in some half-witted cash grab, but I am happy that there are MANY options at just about any proof level.
