Tried it at the American Distillers Institute bash in April of this year.
I tried both unaged and aged versions.
There were hundreds of whiskies available for tasting.
Both of these were my favorites in their respective classes.

Another "bloke" who I met there is in your own part of the hemisphere.
Peter Bignell operates the Belgrove Distillery in Tasmania. Now, there are several distilleries in Tasmania (attractive laws, I suppose) but nearly all of them produce malt whisky (what would be called Scotch if it could be). Peter makes rye whiskey, and really good rye whiskey. It's not available in the U.S. yet (or at least it wasn't in April; it might be now) but you should be able to get it in OZ. It's even better than F.E.W

Sorry, don't have a photo of that one. He didn't have any packaging yet.

I had some in Chicago two weeks ago at a "meet the craft distillers" event at a tobacco shop. It was very good.

Apples to oranges, but I would say that Few is making some of the best, aged micro whiskey that I've tasted.
