Peachy Woodford cocktail

I went to an event at Brown-Forman on Friday. It was a bourbon roundtable discussion with some people from the U.S. and some from Great Britain. Before the event started there were cocktails served from about a dozen bartenders from Great Britain. This was the fifth year that Woodford Reserve had sponsored a cocktail contest in Great Britain and selected winners to come to the U.S. to to tour Jack Daniels and Woodford Reserve distilleries. The cocktail that I enjoyed a lot and even more so because it is simple to make was ice cubes made from frozen peach tea with Woodford served over the cubes in a glass. As the ice melts, the drink gets more peachy in taste. I can see this drink made with many different bourbon, but with the Sazerac rye or Thomas H Handy rye even more so. They have a bit of spicey peaches flavor to start with and the peach tea would really bring this out.
