I received a gift of a bottle of the now discontinued 10 year old Eagle Rare 101 proof, from the now famous Mike from Georgia. This example was also bottled in Frankfort. I reread my review of this same expression from a bottle given to me by Doug Fricky, and I don't feel the need to write anew. I will, however, continue to mourn it's untimely demise. I also reread all of the reviews of those in whom I trust just to see if I might have missed anything crucial. There is some variation between tasters, but that is to be expected. Therefore, I raise my glass of 10 year old Eagle Rare 101 proof to the honor of my bourbon brother - Mike from Georgia! Cheers!
