Thanks Mike. The Double Oaked is hotter than the Woodford Reserve to me, but still very enjoyable.

I just got a bottle and now enjoying the first sips. I agree that it is very nice. Definitely on my shelf now.

I like this bourbon; it's definitely a bold flavor profile, and it stands out from other bourbons at this price point. It doesn't rise to the top of my list though, because to me it has a fairly strong black licorice taste in the finish, which I'm not a fan of. If not for that flavor in the finish, it would be a top contender for me, especially at the price.

The description is right on the journal. Vanilla, corn & rapidly transitioning to spice are the strengths of this flavored whiskey and meets my expectations
