Just a comment on my own comment, but my bottle is virtually the same color as the image which captions the reviews, a nice reddish. Few bourbons today merit the old moniker "red critter" but this one does. It must be part of the (visual, in this case) profile they seek.

Howdy,

Just bought my first bottle of this respected Bourbon recently.
Nose: Fruit; maybe some Rye spice. Cherries are definitely there.
Taste: More fruit; surprisingly little barrel char. Sweet.
Finish: Medium in length and with a pleasant shot of Cherries after every sip.
I'm not so experienced as many of you, but this is my review.
