Excellent review, Gary, you always have some unique things to say. I have yet to see this one at 'my' liquor store, but I would like to try it. I find it interesting that you consider this one 'quite light'. That alone is reason for me to give it a try......... if I can find some.

Thanks Mike. It was more the nose I found light than the taste. Funny, but just tonight I found the way really to enjoy (for me) this bourbon: cut it to 80 proof or even a tad under. It makes it sweet and rich and the astringency at higher levels is gone. Its fruity richness comes out if you do this with some twangs and twists that perhaps justify the $30 extra brass you have to pay.
