Help on Older Bottle Identification and value
Posted: Sun Jun 14, 2015 5:38 pm
HI, new member here. Been collecting older labels for a while. Came across an associate that has the following bottles. THESE ARE NOT FOR SALE. But I was trying to identify and I think they are all produced by Dowling Distillery. However other than the obvious Dowling, the other two bottles are more of a Mystery. I think, judging from another post years ago by J Vwinkle himself, that the collector's edition and the Reserve bottles are stocks distilled at Hoffman. Or even judging from the red wax, possibly old stocks from the Happy Hollow Distillery before t Samuels opened in 54. Please help me identify who actually bottled these. Any help and a Valuation would be passed along to my associate so that they can either open it or treasure it. Since it was passed down to them. Thank you.
Any additional ideas on these would be appreciated.
