Medley Bros Banjo Bottle w/Private Label, Info & Date

Can anyone help with info on this bottle?
Also, I know it's a long shot but maybe someone will know something about the Colonel. My internet searches turn up nothing. Was it common for Medley to use a private label?
I have a Medley Bros Banjo Bottle with cork top and a private label. Embossed around label with Co name, location, 4/5 quart and reuse caution notice.
Front banjo info label has Bottled in Bond, Owensboro KY, Reg Dist No 49 I.R.B.W. No 68 Dist of KY - Medley Bros Banjo Bottle with Section, 2903-9, Internal Revenue Code, reuse caution notice.
Back of bottle has private label which reads: Bottled Especially for Colonel Earl E. Major.
Bottom of bottle has N (in square), 72, 51, 7D7, 9 (sideways), Pat Pend.
The only tax stamp is a green one on the side which reads, Kentucky 1/5 gallon, Distilled Spirits, Commonwealth of Kentucky.
Please correct me if I am wrong, but the best I can do on the date is 1932-1964 because of the reuse caution and possible 1951 because of the bottom embossing.
I will try to upload photos.
Thank you in advance.
