Brooklyn Winter Ale

Unread postby Brewer » Sun Dec 30, 2007 4:38 pm

Ah, another very tasty seasonal brew. Brooklyn Winter Ale is a very tasty beer that I'd highly recommend. It does not have the hop aroma or flavor that I'm very fond of, but that absence is more than made up for by a wonderful malty aroma and flavor. It is a full bodied brew and weighs in at 6% ABV. The label says it is based on a Scottish receipe, and that may be so, but this beer reminds me of a Brown Ale. I'd say this is a good brew to have on a cold winter's night when you're in the mood for a few strong, tasty beers. :drink: :partyman:
