Desert Island - Beer

Unread postby Mike » Sun Dec 18, 2005 11:42 am

Alright, I admit that I am riding this pony a bit much, but why not for beer too? Since the choices for beers are much more extensive than for Bourbon or Scotch, I will allow 10 beers to this mythical island

Mine are:

Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
Bert Grant's Perfect Porter
North Coast's Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout
Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout
Anchor Brewing Old Foghorn
McEwans Scottish Ale
Unibru La Fin du Monde
Terrapin Ale (a small brewery out of Athens, Ga........their signature ale is brewed with a bit of rye, making it a slightly different and very refreshing ale)
Bass Ale

Next week the list might be slightly different..........there are so many good ones out there!

Mike,

At least no one's gonna be thirsty on this dessert isle!

My beers would include:

Sierra Nevada Celebration and Pale Ales
Celis White
Yuengling Porter
Blue Point Hoptical Illusion
Celebrator Dopplebock
Hop Devil
Brooklyn Monster Ale and East India Pale Ale
Ommegang

I think I've made myself thirsty...gotta get a pint! :D :partyman: :drink:
