age of old taylor bottle?

i purchased a couple of bottles (full) of vintage bourbon today at an estate sale. one of them has a legible date on the seal (1937, I.W. Harper - any good?), but the other has a broken seal, though an intact cork, and the remainder of the seal is too dirty or worn to read. it is a bottle of old taylor, 100 proof, 4/5 quart bottle so before 1979. the label is pretty worn but still perfectly legible. are there any other clues as to the age i can look for?

Numbers on the bottom of the bottle will have the date the bottle was made. They use those bottles pretty fast so it's pretty accurate to the date of the bourbon.
