MELVALE DISTILLERY (RYE)

Unread postby MykeyWilbury » Sat Jan 05, 2008 9:22 am

Hello all,
I have come across a case of 1914 RYE whiskey,
from the Melvale Distillery that was in Maryland, (preprohibition!!!)
It was distilled in 1914, and bottled in Spring of 1920

I'd like input on this rare find, but I'm not navagating very well on here.

I have 9 of the 12 bottles in the original crate.
There is an auction comming up in February in Maryland
sponsored by the RYE enthusiasts. I thought I'd post it here beforehand,
(just in case) <wink>
Feel free to contact me on the specs., and photos.

I still have the Melvale rye. I haven't parted with a drop yet.
