Very clean and simple. | | Taste: | Sweet corn and a bit of that pepper spice. No burn in the mouth but a little heat going down - more of a spicey heat than an alcohol burn. | | Finish: | Did I say "Simple"? This finish is very nice with a long lasting spice of mild pepper and sweet spice - maybe even a bit floral with some honey suckle. | | Overall: | This is a very good corn whiskey. It is unaged white corn whiskey but it is very flavorful. I would like to see them age this for a few years in a used bourbon barrel or maybe even a used wine barrel. It is so good as an unaged product, that I think that it could hold its own in a used wine barrel, making a very interesting product. |
